Welcome!

The design was updated on July 7, 2010. My portfolio and resume were updated on July 6, 2010.

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular and Systems Toxicology from the Department of Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I work in the laboratory of Dr. Peter Dedon, where my project focuses on developing quantitative bioanalytical methods to investigate and exploit the role of unique tRNA structures in bacterial pathogens.

I began this website as a personal blog for friends and family, and over time it has evolved into its current state as both my personal and professional online portal. Here you'll find:

In addition to this website, I maintain public profiles on Facebook (doesn't everyone these days?) and Epernicus (a social networking site for research scientists). Take a look around; I hope you enjoy what you find!
